mario monkey madness, coming soon:

inspired by Rayman Raving Rabbits, I got a idea :

Mario Monkey Madness

this picture tells you everything!


with new fight moves, Mario have to fight his way through a heard of monkeys.


and of course: a sidescrolling adventure with the all-eating monkeys!


story:
suddenly a heard of monkeys came to the mushroom kingdom and kidnapps Yoshis and steal fruit from the mushroom peoples. Mario saw everything from a big hill. Then, out of the gray sky, a giant monkey with red eyes took a mega mushroom and went to Peach's castle. to be continued...

controls:
use the arrow keys to move, shift to jump and ctrl to run. press Z to get ready to smash.

when you press Z he will stay like this:, then choose which posetion you want to hit. press Z to hit. If you press Z when Mario is finished to hit, he will hit another time, and to the end, he kick. when you kick, your enemy will fly into a block and destroy it!

luigi
peach
toad
toadsworth

enemies:
mostly of monkeys.
goombas
(maybe) koopa troopas
shy-guys

bosses:
shy-king
mecha monkey
big, bad monkey

Intro:
when Mario is watching what's going on from the hill, a monkey throws him into the sky.
control Mario with <- and -> for to don't get hurt of monkys riding on rocket. catch mushrooms hanging from balloons. You can also see a monkey kidnap Luigi.
The sky in the background gets bluer and the clouds get smiling face. and to the end, you crashlands into the ground. Toadsworth give you a 1-up and the Fight moves

Isn't that Mr. Mario's sprite? =P Maybe not.

Anyway, looks uber awesome.

Those aren't screenshots.

Mr. Mario's sprite is an edit of a real Mario sprite.

EDIT: And I have to agree, this can't be snapshots.

I like the screenshots. I want to do a game like this...hmm give me time and when Im at school or on a jurney then I work on it^^

Aren't you already working on 4 projects?

What can be non-screenshottish about this except for that gorilla background? It might as well be the intro movie.

The lower 2 are the suspicious ones.

Trust me, those are impossible unless it's a made-up picture.

So... What's so made-up about them? I fail to see anything suspicious in there really.

The AI of the monkeys.

If you were a developer you would notice how the AI is almost impossible *points at the Monkey attacking the Goomba*.

If this is true I'd pay for it.

Those are clear mockups!

Gotta love his engrish though.

Maybe it's just hopping around?
