Sprite artists

Ok I need people to help me sprite for my FREAKIN' RPG already. I don't care if you totally suck, you cannot be as bad as me. TRY ME. If you have ever entered a sprite contest here, if you have ever had a single time in your life where someone told you "Hey your drawing doesn't reek!"

I am DESPERATE to work on this RPG, so much is done. The engine is complete (combat, talking, everything). I have thirty pages of storyline, 24 MP3 music tracks, but no artist. This game deserves to be finished.

Should I check out Pixeltendo? What is their site? Name me some names, I am so serious about this game you have no idea. It will be released as a commercial project and you might receive two of the ten pennies we earn from selling it.

I need any or all of the following:
- People that can edit sprites. Even color editing. I have a lot of spritework done that can be reworked to populate the entire game world. These wouldn't be very hard, they are fairly small images
- People that can draw new enemies for the battle screen (pictured above)
- People that can draw new homes and environments for the game. These areas are mapped out and designed, I could give you a specific list of what you need to draw if you wanted it. The problem is of course that I can't draw any of this myself.
- Particularly artistic people to do the storyboard scenes where we further the story every so often, as well as the title screen

I'm no spriter, but you listed "- People that can edit sprites. Even color editing.", and while I can only halfass at edits, but I can atleast use Paintshop Pro to color swap and such with immense ease, and I can atleast TRY editing sprites if any others can't, though I doubt I'm any better then you as I myself have a project that requires a team, but that's another story. I'm not sure if I'd be as high speed as you'd want, but I know what it's like to just let things go on and on with no work, and whenever I am on the computer I am on AIM, and while some computers I use don't have my game making programs, most every one, break, watching over the house, whatever, have Paintshop Pro for editing.

My fellow Crusader of Funk, your offer intrigues me. I will outfit you with a similar task to what I am giving Blue Griffin; in about 3 hours time I'll be home to forward a sprite set to you that I need an edit of, I'll only include the sprites that I really need the animations for.

Well, I decided to try this, just to see if I have the ability to make higher quality sprites. It was a challenge, and this is what I got out of it:

This is a battle sprite of a warlock I created, I spent more time on it than you might think

PS: If the coloring doesnt fall in your taste, I got an uncolored version of the sprite aswell.

Ah don't play down your own work so much; I have to admit this topic is a bit misleading, there is a lot more done on the game's story and character set than I'm letting on here, so I can't just plug that guy in anywhere... if you do want to try the sprite editing I can get you moving on it like Blue Griffin
