not very much to say, everything you need to know is explained at the games begining let me know what you think, basicly it's a mouse powered mario adventure made in minigame format.

Could be better.
The screen looks s little stretched, and the game is too hard.

This game is pretty fun--all the bells and whistles are cool (clicking on enemies), and the falling back in pace works well.

The only real suggestion I have is that you change the background of the "top screen"--that picture of Mario is awkward amongst 8-bit graphics.

the top-screen Mario graphic IS 8-bit, it's from SMB DX.

That is NOT 8-bit. 8-bit means 3 colors and transpaerent. At least get rid of the shading. That way it'll look at least SORT of 8-bit.

QUOTE (Blab @ Sep 29 2006, 05:26 PM)
and the game is too hard.

If anything I really consider it to be too easy. I just keep the mouse on Mario to jump and move slightly up to get the spiny eggs away. Another thing I found is that one time I got hit as fire Mario, and small Mario went to a point where only a pixel or two was showing on the screen, making it decntly difficult to see and click on. I don't think you should use SMB graphics unless you really need it to have that theme but you don't, and add a background to make it look a little bit more "good looking".

It's okay, but you should try to make it better. I mean, you have 3 weeks, so you should keep making it better until either it's perfect or you run out of time.

About the game, the picture of Mario on the top screen was weird (what's it there for anyway?) and I was never able to send the spiny balls back up. I think it still needs work, but there are many possibilities in it.

Forums aren't like chatboxes, okay? People don't exist just to post in your topics.

As for the game, it's fun, but there are some things that could be improved. Like, more enemies? The Lakitu moving more realistic and the spinies not falling down in a straight line?

One last thing. The helpbox background-text combination is burning my eyes out.

EDIT: Hmm, i just noticed the new update. If you just click on a Koopa, and it leave it's shell behind, the shell moves with the screen, killing anything that touches it. So they kill things even when not moving, and they don't move proberly (without animations too).

The first time I downloaded it, I got an unexpected error message. I'm trying again...

EDIT: still didn't work...

EDIT: got it to work on another computer. It's okay, but the para troopa should have a negative hspeed when he's pulled into his shell. Also, I personally liked the SMB sprites better...
