Not specifically sure about that yet.
Because people with newer versions are inpatient and PM'd me to have newest version of the engine. Not really a big deal to me |
Yeah, I tried adding banzai bills to the engine for my old game. It took a few minutes. Add sprite, make it move left/right, then when Mario jumps on it, make it fall down and unable to hurt Mario. I was wondering why if you wouldn't add them, why you would add stuff like goombas. But goombas are in almost every mario game, but banzai bills aren't really needed. Too bad you're not going to add big boo though. Big boos are awesome. (except when they're chasing you like in the Jungle Ghost House in NSM2, or maybe those were normal boos, I don't remember).
edit: One big glitch I've noticed that is really annoying. Sometimes, when running up slopes, you stop just before the top and then Mario appears to be "floating" for a short time and loses all his speed. Can you please fix it? It's especially annoying in Mario and the Dark Star, where there are a few levels with a lot of platforms where there is a small slope and then one tile of flat space, then a pit.
