This game hasn't been talked about on the fourms. I have to say, it's probably the funniest game I've ever played.

What are your thoughts?

Played the demo. Didn't like it much. Controls were too flaccid and imprecise. A poor man's Devil May Cry :/

Hmm, I played the demo and wasn't that impressed- mind you final games are always better than demos. Well, nearly always.

Played the demo. Didn't like it much. Controls were too flaccid and imprecise. A poor man's Devil May Cry :/

But does Devil May Cry have:

-Cooperative gameplay that aims to entertain rather than frustrate (even with the inclusion of friendly fire).
-50+ characters to play as with unique abilities.
-Vehicular combat levels and mountable vehicles within regular levels.
-Boatloads of unlockables (believe me, the Devil May Cry series has a good amount of these, but nothing compared to Lego Star Wars), among which include the option to import all your old characters from the first Lego Star Wars, cheat codes to help you earn some of the harder things in the game, and other bizarre enhancements.

I mean, you try to get your girlfriend or little brother to play Devil May Cry, then try to get them to play Lego Star Wars. That alone should speak volumes about the power of the game.

Not to mention that you said you "played the demo", which means you played it on the PC without question. I'm not sure if you played Devil May Cry 3 the same way or not, but regardless there's no replacement for the analog stick in the realm of Lego Star Wars. Without one, of course you're going to find it harder to control.

Sort of sounds like any game when you use a keyboard and mouse!

Or at least any game designed for a console.

Personally, I thought the controls were spot on. Just the way I like it!

Sounds like it needs to be experienced with proper analog control to me, then.

The PC version will recognize Dual Shocks though, if you have proper adapters. Although I think the PS2's take on analog control is kind of lousy (the sticks just feel awkward to me), it's much better than trying to handle eight directions with no speed control.

I love the game. Much better than the first. And the fact that you can import characters from the first for about 112 (114 if you count created) characters to use.

And killing Darth Sidious with... Darth Sidious is hilarious.
