The only way an Airsoft sniper rifle could be effective is if wind conditions were completely dead or the FPS was high enough to cause significant injury.

And I say this because I've actually pondered buying one before, but then I decided to just eventually mod this instead:

The length without modifications is impressive, so I imagine it'll be even cooler if I do eventually remove the air pressure limits. Another upside of Nerf is that you don't have to organize an Airsoft match with protective equipment and so forth. Just take aim and bother someone with it.

Also, did I mention you'll probably never pay more than 30 dollars for it?
