Actually, that comes from the fact that the Playstation 3 is currently concerned with being a media powerhouse and pushing the Blu-Ray standard, a visual spectacle rather than showing how it will actually be "fun", which for some people (you'd probably call them "the haters") is the whole point of playing games.

These features on the Wii are just welcome surprises and great additions to attract "blue ocean" consumers who love bonus features. The key difference here is that the Wii's media features will probably not be as extensive as the XBOX 360's or Playstation 3's, and they take a backseat to the actual gaming.
