Which Mega Man do you like the most?

In my opinion, I like old Mega Man better. What do you think?

Old Megaman.He was awesome in MM8.

Old... because they were all platformers back then, which is what Mega Man does best.

Megaman Legends is my favorite.

As far as these two choices go, I'd pick the old megaman because it's not like every kids' collect-em-all anime ever the way Battle Network is. Although battle network is fun (until after you play more than two of them).

I've always been a fan of Classic Megaman.

Would Mega Man X classify under old since they're platformers?

Mega Man Zero would be a stretch though

Hell the voices alone killed Megaman 8. :P

Orginal megaman was awesome. How ever others were put off by the difficulty.
X was pretty sweet, but after X5 i really disliked the seires.
Legends is made of pure win.
Battle network had alot going for it, it had alot of potental..but after the second game i could care less.
The Zero series artwork style was kinda gay, but whatever it was pretty cool. Oh yeah, it was obscenely hard.
Megaman ZX combines all the best elements of the above seires, i like it the best out of the other games, though its not really a series yet. but meh.

if there was a way to sage topics on regular boards, i'd do it here just for mentioning new megaman

My favorite design is probably the Megaman you see in Megaman 2-7, the arcade games etc.

The Megaman from Megaman 8 is too...sleek. Doesn't look as cool to me. Megaman X's original design was pretty cool but it just got gradually worse.Megaman Legends and Battle Network's designs are awesome usually, and Zero/ZX isn't bad either.

As far as how the games actually play though, the classic series and battle network are my favorites.

...It's normal Mega Man but more detailed.

Uh, if he has new details, it isn't much. Really what I meant was how they made him skinnier and with longer limbs. In some of the art he isn't as bad, but the animated sequences change him up a bit more also, and the ingame sprite is weird also =(
