Hahaha, that's awesome that they did that. I can't say I think the lyrics are anything special, but that's still the best Sonic ending music.

Are the lyrics the same as the lyrical version of the song featured on a soundtrack, by the people who, well, made the song for the original? XD

I think so, I hope this is final credits music as apposed to just Sonic or Princess Elise's theme.

I actually had this on MP3 previously, and I do hope it gets in as the end theme.
Sonic 2's music was truly the greatest.

This isn't the version they're using. It's more a mix of this with some pop culture feel in it.

This is also the old 80's version, not the one in Sonic '06.

That's the one that was released only a few months (or a year, can't remember) after Sonic 2 came out... I think. Either way, it's the 80's one.


The new one won't be all hyped-techno-heavy metal-remixed-mastered, it'll basically be a better, more quality, orchestrated version.

... good thing I'm a Mario fan and not a Sonic fan, otherwise I probably would've been roadkill or something close to it by now.

The band that recorded that song was around in the 80's, BUT they did not record it during that time period. I believe it was recorded about a month or so before Sonic 2's release.
