It was probably for people who can't get and/or don't want the Wii.

I hate these marketing schemes Nintendo is cranking out lately, just making the will to buy a Wii even more difficult, especially for Zelda.

The majority of people want the Nintendo Wii mainly for Twilight Princess. Why would ANYONE get the Wii for Twilight Princess if it was already coming out for Gamecube? I really was expecting this to happen, its has been bumped back prety far now. but if nintendo does do it i guess i will have to play it on the wii. but its probably for the best, because then they wouldent have a bunch of useless GC copys because most people were going to get it for the wii anyways. we dont want them being burried with all those E.T. games now would we?
