Twighlight Princess for Gamecube no more?

To add to this, there's also the little thing about how this game was originally slated to be released a year and a half ago. We've been waiting to get this game "eventually" for a while now. Even those of us who can't/aren't planning on getting a Wii on launch day would rather not wait any longer, especially since, as Jeff mentioned, we were promised we wouldn't have to buy a completely new system to play it. It's bad enough that they delayed the GCN game until weeks after the Wii version even after they said there would be a simultaneous release, outright cancelling it would just be spitting in our faces, smart business or not.

and yes I know they said the GCN version isn't cancelled, I'm just explaining my rationale for still wanting it.

I'm planning to buy the Gamecube version. Maybe I'll re-buy if and when I get a Wii. There's really only one Wii game I really want - Heroes

And please, we're speaking about Nintendo. I can understand how them not keeping promises for a slated release is irritating, but good Christ they've been doing this since the dawn of time.

On the bright side, while there are many getting worked up over nothing, at least this senseless ruckus will ensure they can get the game somehow (I'm sure at least one person at Nintendo will catch wind of it).
