I called Babbage's (owned by Gamestop). They removed the game from their database because they aren't taking new pre-orders on it. The game will be released in their stores.

So I can stop being sad.

From everything I've read and heard though, I will not be surprised if there is a very limited run of this game.

Though they do have the number of Gamecube-version preorders to use as a guage to determine how many to produce.

Well that's a fairly obvious factor. Money wise I'd think people switching to Wii because they "need" Zelda would be more money than those just not getting the Wii.
