A stabbing kills a student at my School., at University High School, Orlando FL.

This happened right after school got out. Band Practice was cancelled so I got out my Gamecube and 4 controllers and played some Super Smash Brothers Melee.

Since school was on a Lockdown, I was 46 minutes late for Work.

Thats about all I have. I knew nothing about the Victim or the Suspect.

I miss the days where verbal altercations were settled with dancing contests.

And in schools no less!

Apparently this is only the 4th killing of a student on a campus in CENTRAL FLORIDA. (at least recently)

I'd like to point out the bolded.
While I doubt a 21 year old would still be a student at this school, it was one of 2 murders that took place at my School. Considering that the student killed on Jan 13th 2006 was killed by a Police Officer, that leaves 3 cases of Murder, 2 of which happened at my School.

It also brings up a point that Guns aren't the only violent killers of our own people. Knives, and even our own fists have the potential to kill another person. I really doubt that they would ban clenching a fist, I do think they need a tougher stance on all forms of weapons. I don't blame this solely on the school system or the Law enforcement, some of the blame should go to the parents or "legal" guardians.

I really just wish that people would stop being so god-damned stupid and learn that things like weapons/drugs/etc. aren't the only way to solve a conflict. From my own personal experience at my school, I've seen dozens of pocket knives, brass knuckles, etc. I've heard talks about "capping this N-word in the ass", gang fights, gang meetings, crips, bloods, or some latino based gangs. It is really sad that even when teachers are present, talks like this can still go on.

To me, it just doesn't make any sense why a kid I did not even know had to die today. It doesn't make any sense why Mark Thorton had to die, for Joey Summerall to die, for Chris Penley to die. This is what makes me think there is no God. It's all people doing this, "God" cannot do anything to stop these things from happening.

It's not that there is no God, but instead, it's a massive failure in the human conscience and the ability to reason beyond the level of a neanderthal.

This is why we have bullies picking on nerds. And then the nerds are actually dumbassed enough to go take out whole schools because the bullies picked on them. If the bullies would stop being ****ing ****heads and picking on people younger than them, and if the children the bullies victimize will pull their heads out of their ass and realize that **** doesn't respawn in real life when you shoot at it, then you'll have a decrease in school violence.

I know this isn't the case here, but it still applies. There's a reason why we have brains and mouths. Unfortunately, people fail to use their brains to reason and their mouths to talk sense, so instead they use their asses to reason and their mouths to spout insults until someone swings a fist.

It's a ****ed up world we live in, but I'm thankful I'm no longer in high school and have to deal with this crap.

Seriously, this applies to a lot of guys in my school. They reason with their rear-ends, if they even reason at all. Sometimes they just go and swing a fist.

Seriously, if people would learn not to do this kind of thing, people could go to school without the fear of not ever coming back from the place. It would help if teachers and principals actually did what they claim they do-Help students out.
