Super Smash Brothers!, Choose YOUR character.

Well, alot of talk has come up about the new title in the Super Smash Brothers series, and who all should be in it. It has eben pointed out that Solid Snake, a Konami character, ended up in the lineup for the next title. (Okay, fine, but why him and not Alucard? ;p)

So this next topic is simply for fun. Aside from the general consensus that Sonic should/could be in the lineup, what other odd characters should be thrown into the mix, if it were made into (more of) a cross-company fighting game?

For instance, if you wanted Sonic to be in there, what moves would you give him, and what significance would they have? What "family" (company) are they from? Who do you think they'd be a good match for? The same goes for any character wou would include.

PS--and if ANYONE tries to put Sephiroth or any other Final Fantasy VII character in here, I will personally stab you in the face. In fact, I almost expect to see them in here in spite of me. :p

final fantasy characters in ssb? thats would suck major cojones.
but since snake is in it, then I would like to see some one from the megaman series.
I dont really mind whoever is in it xD lol Im still playing the one for gamecube and its pretty fun, specially playing with no time 4 bots with 9 and only pokeballs

Personally, I'd like to see Crash Bandicoot in there as a cross-platformer. It could very well happen--he isn' Sony's flagship character anymore (and probably wasn't anyway--he was just some cool character that was originally created by Naughty Dog, not Sony)

He would, of course, have his trademark spin attack to knock around his enemies with, the jumping bodyslam, the ground slide and, of course, his Warped Bazooka. He'd likely have a variety of kicking and punching moves for brawling with as well.

You could probably get Cortex in, too, for he is to Crash what Bowser is to Mario.

has any body thought of characters having helpers? or at least some move like peach's toad thingy.
if so then crash could have that mask thingy

Good point. He could probably follow Crash from the Start of the match, and then restore all of Crash's HP once he hits a certain percentage, provided he doesn't get thrown.

I hope they dont put any snk or street fighter character, or x-man, it would be horrible.
I think that snake shoundt be on it, most people are really happy that snake would be in it, but think about it, pikachu vs snake? its not like a great character to be in smash bros.
crash could be a great one, he is cartoonish(thats what I call the mario style games).
but final fantasy characters or even ryu? (lol I can imagine pikachu fighting against him :sigh:)
probably megaman,crash Bandicoot or other character (maybe bomberman? o_0)
and also if they put young link and adult link I wont buy that game, they should put osme special move in which young link plays the ocarina or something and becomes adult link, if not then they would be wasting a lot of space with clones.
and I hope mr game and watch isnt in the next smash bros, he sucks.

Samus is kind of in snake's league, a "realistic" character--so is Link.

samus and link are different, they are more rated teen kind of characters (except the new link tho)

The new Link is basically the same as the older one except he shows his emotions more. And Snake only kills evil people, much like any Nintendo character ever. He's no different, the story is just more mature.

I think a WindWaker Link would be kind of cool (even though we have enough Links as it is). But not only would he be the cartoony, cel-shaded Triforce Hero, but he'd have his own set of moves related to his game, instead of the same set as the othr Links (Perhaps the Leaf?). Otherwise...yeah. Beating a dead horse.

Dude...Pong Paddle would KICK ASS!

o_o dude link doesnt kill he destroys lil 3d creatures which are supposed to get kill, snake kills people and it looks realistic, which would make nintendo better but isnt nintendo supposed to be more a kind of "family" system?
and if they put snake in it with no blood or guns that look realistic then it would suck
