Like Delmore said on page one, they probably have more planned since their system comes out later.

Thus, there's a chance we may have more as well.

Someone will figure out a way how to emulate that kind of stuff.
The SNES Scene is pretty awful.

Alright, but that doesn't justify the fact that our VC launch list is pissass poor.

Another thing that brought up a concern of mine is the fact that Fire Emblem is on the Japanese list - I'm really sort of disappointed that Nintendo is making Virtual Console downloads "region specific", because as a diehard Nintendo fan there are a handful of titles I'd like to play from the old generations that were never released here, and emulation simply doesn't suffice. Nintendo only has to deal with simple localization and translation issues which if something Konami could do in two months with MG 1 and 2 than I believe Nintendo can do it as well. They don't have to deal with manufacturing costs or shipping costs, or anything else like that - so what's the deal?

I mean, what about those Australians and Europeans who want to play Super Mario RPG? Is Nintendo just going to completely ignore them because they believe the game would be obsolete in those territories? That's foolish. It's like Itunes refusing to offer Electric Light Orchestra songs to American costumers because they simply didn't sell as many records 'here' as they did 'there'.

Yes, region specific Virtual Console downloads are ridiculously backwards thinking. We have an online marketplace where normal publishing risks don't apply, so why shouldn't we have a global mindset?

In fact, this is nothing like the region lock situation. There is no money going overseas, the Wii Points would pretty much be bought in America no matter how you slice it. So I'm not sure there's any need for this region separation financially.

Well if Nintendo is going to **** on us then I'm going to be a naughty boy and find a way around this, much like you all should as well.

I think the only immediate way will be to import a Japanese Wii, which really doesn't make you naughty so much as a Nintendo slave.

Ever since I modded my Virtual Boy I wasn't able to differentiate the two. ;-;

I hope we get some kind of "special" SD card loading figured out before hardware modifications are necessary, but gaming tradition has usually shown otherwise.

That's stupid. You can't charge more for Super Nintendo games than MegaDrive games, they're pretty much equal consoles.

Seeing Dungeon Explorer on that list made my day.
