October 31, 2006 - Bungie recently announced that there have been over 4 billion games of Halo 2 played online, proving that gamers do indeed love the Halo 2. Considering the game has been out for two years, that's an average of around 5.5 million games played per day. Just think of the revenue Microsoft could rack up if it included in-game ads!

Apparently the number of unique users playing Halo 2 is fast approaching 4 million, a number that the likes of World of Warcraft would be proud of.

Some very impressive statistics about Halo 2.

I wonder is SSBB will be able to match this?
