I played the TP demo at the mall today

nothing is as awesome as potentially supporting a company that steps on its workers (since i'm betting you'll end up buying a wii/games there) for the sake of playing a totally sweet game!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

hell I know I'm buying it from Walmart, because I stand a better chance of getting it there.

And not to mention it's the earliest store that'll have it that opens the earliest.


Did you pre-order, or are you going to be waiting for it, on a first come first serve basis?

Lucky... I went to the mall and they didn't have any wii kiosk... they had some empty wii boxes though

I didn't pre-order. My Walmart is open 24 hours so I'm going to call a bit later in the month and see if they're handing them out at midnight. Last time I called they said they'd be opening at 7am but from what I'm reading Walmart is supposed to be handing them out at midnight, so maybe the employee didn't know. Either way - I'm getting it from Walmart and will probably have to camp out a bit. Which is a first for me.

Can we shoot the dog yet?

I don't think so...

You're lucky nontheless, but the control scheme got a MAJOR rennovation as visable by the newest demonstration videos; you now swing the sword entirely with the Wii remote, and the a key is used nothing more than an "action" key, along with at times, pushing it in accomodated with a swing of the remote to perform swift lunges at your enemy, along with initiating counters much like in Wind Waker. Sensitivty was also reduced, and the control scheme of the final version will feel much more immersive and less so like a "Gamecube controller split in half".

Glad to see that Nintendo's appealing to you with a game in a series that generally wouldn't - or is it peer pressure? :P

I just can't wait to get my hands on a copy once TP is released here...

I was unaware that Trasher even had a permaban button, I thought it was more like:

*drummin' finger on negative symbol and some random numbers so he'll be prepared when he enters a value into the suspension field*
