First month of school I did Chinese paper cutting in my multi-cultural art class, I chose a dragon because people already took everything else :x

This was my image from THE INTERNET LOL and as you can see, it's hard to tell what anything is and ... don't mind that lightbox info on the bottom I was interested in one >>

Done on newsprint or whatever, with pencil and not traced in anyway whatsoever, did it all by hand while glancing at my original reference XD
I retraced it about 4-5 times, everything on it and this ironically took the longest out of the whole project.

Graphite was put on the back of that newsprint paper, and I redrew it again in order to transfer it to the blue paper I chose for the actual cutting. Sad thing is, it was barely visible because of the dark blue paper so I traced it YET AGAIN.
Afterwards it was cutting with an ex-acto knife or whatever those are, I don't know how to spell them haha. Yeah, every one of those scales were cut out, surprisingly it only took 2-3 days. I did mess up at the end because I was running out of time and rushing though, so the bottom right is ugly. Then I glued it to the white piece of paper.
Yeah it doesn't look like much but I'm pretty proud of this thing, before I did it I wasn't even expecting to be able to draw that dragon. XD (Though I had to take creative liberties on it because you couldn't see anything.)
Oh yeah I did these two hands from plaster models we looked at for reference in beginning paint and draw.

First one I did and I hate it now that I look back on it, so chunky looking.

I like this one a lot better
And my typing feels bigger than the actual pictures like usual so I'm going to stick some doodling I did in class :x

I can't draw the fingers if they're straight :S
