New Sonic 06 vid

Lots of new stuff here. Even a bit of Tail's gameplay.

sgahhfs at the guy in the Sonic mask. Also some parts of this game don't look too...fast. ANd that's not a good thing, Sonic is all about speed. And the escort mission with Sonic holding Elise looks kind buggy. They coulda done a better job with that homing attack, really. Sonic's voice is sort of ok, but it sounds like Jason is using his Sonic X voice. Yet again. A few minor setbacks won't stop me from buying the game, it seems fun and thats what matters to me really.

It's time for the pros and cons list assholes:

Pros:

*This guy
*Tails being in the game alone without a mech
*Sonic looks fun to play as
*The graphics are passable this time
*Snow boarding level=Hell yes
*City Escape esque boarding level=Hell yes
*The gameplay reminds me of SA and SA2's Sonic stages
*Not every level in angst fest and some levels are actually Sonicy
*Alot Adventure game homages (Such as the whale)
*Tails looks fun and original to the series without ruining his character
*Being able to homing attack with Elise in hand
*Sonic's gameplay looks fun and while not anything truly new, should be a blast

Cons:
*Sonic's voice makes me want to stab my ears multiple times
*Sonic talks too much and while attacking
*Tails looks a little too slow for my liking
*No Knuckles in the trailer
*Visuals are meh in some levels and great in others
*Some levels are way too realistic
*Some parts while great homages to past games, look a little too farmiliar
*Playing as Tails looks incomplete
*Sonic looks like the only fun part of the game
*Robotnik only being the main villian untill the last story

Nope, but Rouge sucks so it doesn't matter.

The best part of Rouge is pictures, and I'm damn well gonna get them.

By the looks of things, Tails, Knuckles, Rouge, Blaze, and E-10whatever omega were put in last minute. I still have doubts of a lot of them being playable in the end (Although Tails will be now that they've started releasing shots of him).

Expansion pacs/downloads from marketplace?

Actually SEGA revieled that all of them are playable once you do certain requirements (Beat all of Tails' missions, unlock Tails and stuff like that). Also they released screens of Amy and Blaze being playable so they're a most in already. I doubt they'd leave Knuckles behind too.

I mean, while the graphics look horrendous in stills, I guess they made the stages uberhuge and detailed in a sense that you just can SPEED thru it all.

I'm pretty sure he's still playable, SEGA said that all "amigos" are playable. Also someone hacked the demo and found his extra life "head" in the textures so it's basically confirmed unless they took him out for no good reason.

Knuckles is one of the only decent characters left in the game. If anything it would be good to leave him out of this.

Besides, nobody expected Hidden Palace zone to be scrapped from Sonic 2, and loads of videos/screenshots were released of that.
