Stranger than Fiction

[Out of Order]

Jesus christ, this was one of the best movies I've seen a really long while. I saw it on opening night, not expecting much. I was impressed.
My only gripes are, (not really spoilers, since it happens during the begining) the watch being magic and stuff. It really took away from the movie.

I didn't see it, but I did just see Man of the Year, which was a lot better than people are making it out to be.

StF looks okay, but not something I'm dying to see. And the name Harold Crick is hilarious to me for an unknown reason.

Two movies in one night? That's ridiculous..
To be honest, out of the two I liked this movie a whole lot more. Many movies now a days are trying to be funny and serious. (Employee of the Month) and some actually manage to do it. (Click) Well I am happy to tell you that this is one of those movies.
Stranger than Fiction is extremely well written with some amazing detail in the quotes. It's funny, fast and well...good. The acting is top notch from Ferrell, Gyllenhaal and Thompson all aroung. Hoffman is good too.
Another thing that is really cool in this movie are some of the digital effects. Like from his watch which counts how many steps or bites, ect. on screen. It's a great movie with almost perfect scores in all section. The only part I didn't like

was that he didn't die in the end. Don't get me wrong I don't want to see Ferrell dead but it would have made a better book.
