(I specifically remember they made a PS3 model that doesn't have that backwards compatibility for $499.) So, they just ripped $100 off of everyone that bought a PS3 because of something that does not work properly. (Convert all American dollars to yen for Japanese consumers and wealthy business men) --------------------

I am so glad I'm waiting to get a PS3, if not at all. I had a strong feeling that the PS3 would screw up somehow, but I had no idea it would be this big!

There are probably more games than that which don't work on the PS3. There are around 200 games for PS1 and PS2 that don't work on it, and it seems unlikely that only the few that have those peripherals are in the PS2 category.
