I'd have to agree, text-based mediums can also be a misrepresentation of one's feelings. Language can be twisted, misinterpreted... the list goes on.

And relationships do need physical contact; a relationship that extends to contact solely over an instant messenger for a rather long period of time causes pain, as parties to the relationship are deprived of the necessary physical contact.

(And placing things in asterisks is another form of text communication feigning physical contact)

What's with all the euphemisms?

I "like" several girls who are friends but a little more but not all the way to sex if you get that. Then again there's a girl I know I practically stalk but she doesn't seem to catch on.

Oh and I'm shallow so yeah, and my current closest-thing-to-g/f plays computer games AND is hot.

I was briefly infatuated with our class rep for a few weeks but thankfully, it has died down quite quickly, she has a BF from as far as I know.
