Sprite Competition #92, Mario Galaxy

Not a good idea at all. Nothing is really known about this game, not many choices to sprite besides Mario, that giant sniffit robot, and spider. Needs a better theme. :/

actually, there's alot of info, goto ign.com and look at the videos, I leearned alot from them, I'll tell u that

What the fudge people. Stop reiterating what everyone else said. If you think it's vague or broad don't enter. People aren't going to adjust everything for you just so you can have your way. Plus they've done every other possible idea fifty times anyway.

I swear, all anybody ever does is complain. You whine in the summer because it's too hot, in the winter because it's too cold, and the spring because it's too perfect. :/

Use your imaginations why don't you. Get creative instead of complaining. Make Mario shooting through space or something. Do note that SMG mario looks a lot different from the previous Marios. ;D

I like Max Mario's so far by the way. ;D

I don't think anyone can compete with yours Max. Seriously, you'd have my vote anyway.

Sorry for a bit of off-topic, but what is considered a sprite for THIS compo? Any size limits? Is a tileset or a screenshot-like picture allowed (i'd like to make one) ? Any other rules?

Okay, i finished it before anyone could reply:

It's Mario's Big Battle Robot for beating up bosses and such. I planned to draw Mario in it, but sadly i can't sprite Mario at all So the only theme related stuff is the color scheme of the robot, the blocks he's standing on (meant to be metal) and the spacey atmosphere.

EDIT: I can cut the background or animate the robot if it's needed for the compo

Thanks. For some reason, the thing i like the most is the foreground (blocks and those column things). Your sprite is really good too by the way!

No size limits, yadda yadda.

Yeah, you can make screenshot pics.

Other rules: You can use ripped Mario sheets if you want, but don't use custom Mario sheets.(They can do that right?) Use your imagination for this compo since not much if known about the game.
