VC & WiiWare Monday/Friday Releases, Because it's well past July 2007 now =P

You have played the Game Gear version

nobody can beat the Game Gear version. The screen is too small. However the Master System version is a lot easier and very much do-able. Though the boss music isn't as good.

Problem is the US never got the SMS version so I'm worried that Sega will stuff the Game Gear one on everything.

I played the Master System version. I did not have the Game Gear version. The only Game Gear games I had were Sonic Chaos and Sonic Triple Trouble. And Popils damn that game was badass.

I can't beat the first boss because of the damn physics engine. You're on a damn hill, if you jump to dodge a ball, you jump TOWARDS the boss and more often than not, land in his pincers. If you run right to dodge a ball, you keep running... and running and running and it's hard as hell to stop. If you try to run left, you go slow as hell and if you're trying to dodge a ball, it's usually too slow.

Now we can gaze in wonder as to why Capcom thought it was a good idea to upload yet another Street Fighter II onto the VC.

And the fact that they already released World Warrior, Hyper Fighting, and New Challengers all on the SNES. (FUN FACT: SNES' Hyper Fighting is a port of the Genesis Champion Edition). That is why it won't sell well: Because all they're doing is re-releasing Hyper Fighting with an intro and different logo.

The only SFII needed on the VC is HSFII.

Still waiting for Eternity's Child, SMRPG and Majora's Mask.

Or they can stop beating around the bush and give us SFA2 already.
SSFII has become quite dull for me, as well as SSFII Turbo: Hyper Fighting. =(

To be fair there's plenty of Neo Geo fighters and Samurai Showdown II's set to come soon.

dunno about Wiiware games if there is any...

I heard about that on the radio at work recently. Some guy on one station was whining about it being censored. Could be the censorship had more to do with parental concerns or something similar than with Nintendo's own opinion.


EDIT: Regarding the Game Gear Sonic 2: I agree that that first boss was intensely hard, mainly because of the lack of rings. Fortunately I managed to beat it eventually, and since I was able to save the game (my copy of the game is on Sonic Gems Collection), I'm able to do more stuff in the game now. It's a cool game overall IMO, though I still haven't gotten that far in it (partly because of not playing it all that much).

who'd have guessed they'd all be wrong?

I guess no one will know what games will comes out until the day they actually do come out.

Master System Sonic 1 being released on there is cooler for me than Mega Man being released, anyway. I already have Mega Man on the Anniversary Collection, but I've never played Master System Sonic 1.

I'm still waiting for Earthbound to be released in the US still. But those stupid Wiiware games are getting in the way.

I knew the idea of Mega Man coming to our VC was too good to be true. Somehow I'm not suprised by this.
