Boxing is perfectly responsive, if anything holds it back; it's the (simple) motion sensor in the nunchuk. And also; was there ever a game in existence where when you tried to hit something the blow was simulated and you felt the resistance on your hands? I must have missed it, was that an EyeToy game? Some rumblepak wrist attachment on N64? Mo-Cap Boxing by Konami? Oh wait, IT'S NEVER BEEN DONE.

Actually, there have been times where both of the Mii's weren't able to hit the tennis ball.

MY MOM IS PLAYING IT

The opponents were on the right side as well as my people, and then they hit it and it went to the opposite side where both of us couldn't hit it. Not only has it happened to me, it has happened to the computers.

I'm pretty sure it should happen to the computers, they'll hit it if it comes near them and so to beat them you usually have to hit it far away from them. As for both being on the right side, were you the one in front? If that's the case then when the ball is around the place of the net it should have been around your area and so you should have been able to get it, might be hard because the opponent did a good swing but it should still be possible
