I would, personally, like to see less "general" bans for stupidity, and more bans FROM THE PPP because the reason is obvious, I hope.

That's great and all, however... can we please enforce this rule on the main site as well?

I haven't read through this yet, so this can't be counted as EXCESSIVE stupidity; Does this apply for the PPP as well? My guess is yes.

Okay, there still appears to be some confusion over this rule. This rule doesn't mean you can't joke around and all that business, however if you repeatedly post stupid things so much that it becomes a distraction and an annoyance, then you will be banned.

Here's an example that I'm using because it was a real occurrence that happened long enough ago that the person involved probably won't be offended by my using it (plus he's changed quite a bit since then): remember when Mechant kept posting "it was chunkier than usual!" so much that the admins temporarily added "chunky" to the swear filter? If he had done that with this rule in effect, he would've been banned.

From my warn log. I do expect to be getting atleast a one month ban for saying this, but I couldn't care less.

I understand some of the reasoning behind the ban, but the "jewel of my collection" was nothing more than an opinion, not stupidity. The Virtual Boy is an example of being too innovative for it's time and look how far it got. It pisses me off how I'm getting banned for saying the Wii is a gimmick when I actually think it is.

I fail to see how I did anything wrong (only taking into consideration my talk about the Wii), and if I can't say my own opinions then I see no reason in coming here.

I'll see everyone around, and I am not mad in anyway at the one who reported me. It is a little obvious who it is, though I may be wrong.

I actually didn't take that last one into consideration when banning you, and probably should've just removed it altogether when I posted that in your warn log. The others are perfectly legit, though.
