So tonight we went to a hockey game with my cousin who is here for Thanksgiving. But because of the last second idea we didn't seat in our usual seats. Instead we sat about five rows off the ice and right above the glass wall line. We kept joking how we were going to be hit with a puck, but since no puck has even come close to us during our six year attendance, we knew it wouldn't happen. So in about the second quarter we were watching the game when he hear a look out and then a loud clunk. I thought maybe a puck landed in the seat near us, but I was facing the other way when it came towards us. My cousin turned to my dad and said "Did it get you?" and he replied "Yeah I think it did" Then he put his hand up to his forehead and when he lowered it blood was all over it in a big puddle. He looked at us and sure enough blood just started streaking down his forehead and into his eyes. Soon everyone was standing around us and the medical team came down and put a towel on his forehead. Blood was everywhere. On the seat, on the ground, all over his shirt. I don't honestly know why, as it wasn't that bad but it was everywhere. At the medical station his was bandaged up and we left for the hospital. (Only after I went back down and asked for the puck from a kid) Eight stitches and he's fine now, thought he's going to be sore as hell tomorrow.
Anyone know where to get a copy of the game?
Oh and the scary part is, I was supposed to sit in the seat he was sitting in.
