How did you find MFGG?

My story goes like this:
I once called my friend, soon after he played some sound/voice effects from MLSS.
I asked "where did he get those?" he answered "mfgg.net"...

How did my friend find MFGG? Never asked, but I think by googling.

i was looking for sprites, but you people could never sprite what i wanted, so i did it my self. and though i mind as well submitt some.

The first time I ever connected to the internet was on AOL when I was about six. Since I had age restrictions, I looked around and found downloadable games. The first one I played said it was made with Klik and Play when you closed it, so I looked it up and got it. I was obsessed with it, and a few years later, I found out about The Games Factory when looking up Klik and Play things. When I was looking for games made with it, Bowser Technology games came up. So yeah, that's how I found the site. I actually joined a little bit later after finding it, and was confused by how the memberships worked, so I really didn't post there at all. But yeah, that's how I found this place.

I found fireball20xl, then searched for sprites on google, found WarioComix, found a link there to MFGG, and here I am!

While looking for sprites, I accidently found MFGG using Google. Then around a few years after, I registered at the forum, got banned, and around 2 years later rejoined ~

Actullay, I found the site at school "The worst place to find it". I was in math class
and my friend passed an ad note saying : If you are a Mario fan, join MFGG "www.mfgg.net". So I joined MFGG and here I am!

In all honestly, I actually completely forgot how I found this place.

I used to think MFGG was a crappy freewebs site or somewhat similiar, until I decided to check it out.
I saw that its resources were humongous, and its Mario related sprite archive was many times bigger than TSR's.
So I decided to join the forums and here I am.

Can't remember how I found BowserTech, pretty sure I was looking for sprites and such and just came accross it. MFGG though, I was there for the creation of it. Think I was actually opposed to the idea, since a site called Mario Fan Games Central already existed, but they shut their site down when they learned of MFGG and it stuck ever since.

I was bored on Gaia and made a topic. "Does anyone want to talk over AIM?" and Mason Im'ed me...

We talked for a bit and he asked if I liked to play video games and I said "Hell yeah!!!" and after that he said that I had to join MFGG right now. Sooooooo I did.

Searching for a Mario equiverlant to SFGHQ.

Except after a while I realised MFGG was far better than SFGHQ in terms of content/community and stuff.

Jeff Silvers-around 2004, i wanted mario sprites (After finding SME1) and asked Jeff where i could get some he pointed me here, i came here as Mario-Mario (sticking to my guns about not wanting to share my real internet nickname) i never posted, but i LURKED. alot. ALOT. and then, a year after lurking, i lost Mario-Mario's password and rejoined as Flametale, there ye' have it.

I can't remember exactly, but I think someone on another message board linked to a game on the site. I checked out some of the other games and decided it would be cool to make my own. I didn't join the message board until a few months later.

I was watching Attack of the Show a few years ago, when they did a special on Game Maker. I fooled around with it for a bit... made a coffee addicted Pac-man game and Luigi Pong, then I started working on Super Mario Skyhigh. Half-way through production, I stumbled through the Spriter's Resource links page, and saw MFGG, which conviently hosted fangames and had sprites for usage. I created the account "Hatman" and submitted my first fangame a while later. It wouldn't be until a year later that I joined the forums, though.

I'd rather not give out the name of the message board where I saw a link to Toad Strikes Back, though, since I have a none-too-clean record there (though to be honest it's unlikely that anyone from here would recognize me there, or vice versa).
