But is that a good reason to keep someone banned? If he doesn't come back it won't hurt anything by having his status as unbanned (unless Jinpen has his password still).

While I'm on the subjuct, what's the point in requesting a permaban? If you don't want to be here, just leave. No need to make the mods/admins go though that trouble.

On that other forum I used to be on, I requested a ban because I didn't want to be tempted to come back again (and I probably would have, for whatever reason), though in my particular case it was also because I was feeling sorry for myself and wanted to see if any of the people who hated me there would rejoice after my banning.

Yes, I was acting stupid back then. I admit it. And I'm not saying it's the same with Biddy; as far as I know, he wanted a perma for reasons entirely different from mine.

Compared to some posters warn logs I've seen around here, he can appear pretty tame.

Honestly, I think Permaban requests shouldn't be allowed, seeing as that they almost ALWAYS ask to come back, and it's just a hassle.

I'm not sure where he's going with that. He's judged for his actions on the forums alone. If he turns out to be a really nice guy on aim, that wouldn't cause me to go any lighter on his punishments.

I'm not surprised. He wanted attention and wanted people to beg for him to be unbanned. Now he wants back in.


Maybe there should be some sort of rule that perma banning yourself stays for at least a month. After all it is "permanent".
