Are Schools Going To Far With Safety Precautions?

Okay, I heard the most "ASDFGHJKL" thing ever today. Someone at my school (here in Fresno, CA) got in trouble for bringing hand sanitiser because "it has alchohol in it." In 7th grade in Cottonwood, AZ, I got in trouble for making stupid stick figure death comics because they thought I was planning a Columbine-type thing. Here in CA, a lot of schools have banned the colors red and blue because "they're gang colors." Discuss your opinions and post your ridiculous stories.

This is off topic but in 4th grade (Cottonwood, AZ) the bus driver ripped up all of my Pokemon Cards. ;_;

Red and blue are sort of banned so that you don't get shot, so yeah.

In my school the principle said whoever runs in the hallway, talks back to a teacher, or doesn't do their homework gets suspended for 2 days. Should you just get detention O_o

and I thought my school was dumb for giving you detention for not wearing your school ID o_O

I'm starting to think thes stupid things shoud get schools sued and start to prove that no school is safe from a lawsuit.

I live at CA to but my school doesn't have as many rules as yours does<.<
mine just has standard rules

My school is pretty tolerant.
If we don't do homework we don't get detentions, we can wear red and blue, and being late for class depends on the teacher if you get a detention or not.
This might be because I live in Canada where the Crips and Bloods don't live.
My school is a Catholic school though.

Our school uniform's colors are red and blue.

Last year I SNEEZED and my teacher yelled at me.

I think its right, if they dont do that then someone gets hurt and they blame the school for not doing it.....good thing I droped out -.- school sucks, specially when you get in trouble for no reason.

Reminds me of during the 6th grade final tests I was erasing something and my teacher said "Quit making that DISTURBING pencil noise!", took my pencil, and waddled away. I sighed really loudly out of frusteration. All of the sudden her face turns purple and she pushes my desk (with me in it) to the back of the room and gives me detention.

One time back at my middle school it was P.E.
The gym teacher was yelling at everyone (which i forget why)
then all of the sudden i fart really loud so everyone heard it it echoed to
and the teacher didn't really care, even though i made everyone laugh

Wow. That must be one of the biggest jerk teachers ever. 0_0


Remember how at that one school they banned tag because people could fall and get hurt, or whatever?

I remembered in 2nd grade I tripped on the stairs and my teacher started yelling at me for no reason. Then she didn't let us have snack or rescess ;_; And 2 page book report, too.

Safety Precautions, not "omg my teacher got me suspended for FARTING!!!".

If anything, you should have sued HER for ignoring an actual safety problem (not saying it was a big spill or even a fall, but seriously).

Oh, and apparently at my old middle school wearing anything other than a polo shirt attracts gangs.
