It only seems like it'd be enough water to support really low-level organisms, and it's not flowing very fast (5 years for a trickle like that). Still though, there was evidence that water previously existed on Mars, but never that water in liquid forum was on the planet right now.

Speaking of organisms existing on Mars, I once heard of a worm and an amoebalike creature being found on the planet, so it's very possible that Mars can sustain life.

This is not to say that human life would even last two minutes there.
