New Phantom Hourglass info

To be honest, I think it'd be for the best if they kept the cell shaded style for the hand held games and the more realistic style for the console games. The more realistic style presents a more "epic" feel to it, which is a theme in Zelda I always love to see, especially since OoT. I like Wind Waker's style alot though too, so it'd be nice to have that style for the side games and hand held games. Because to be honest, I had a hard time taking the plot of Wind Waker seriously with the cell shaded "kiddy" look. I still loved the game though, don't get me wrong.

My thought exactly, it really took away from the feeling of the game, but eh, just me.
In my opinion, a full fledged, fully 3-D, with Oot or TP style graphics would be great for the DS.

...New Wii Zelda? I don't think it's gonna be at all like TP. Remember that Nintendo said (or hinted, I don't remember) that TP would be the last of its kind? It's possible that they are trying out something completely new.


Then again we're talking about PH, so. I'm expecting the top-down view to go away and for it to be turned into a full-fledged 3d game. First 3d Zelda portable game...sounds exciting!

I think they should stick with the cel-shaded style for the DS games, especially since the DS can't do very realistic graphics. And that's a lot more noticeable when you're trying to do something like OoT style.

I love the Wind Waker style, except for the way they do people. I always hated the way Link looks in the game, but I love the monsters and environments. Wind Waker style with better anatomy would be awesome, I'm picturing something like those cartoony illustrations of Link from LTTP or the Oracle games.

That's exactly the opposite for me, I hated the goofy looking monsters but I liked the way Link looked. I don't see why they didn't make the monsters more intimidating, some of them looked like cuddly creatures that you would keep as your favorite child-hood stuffed animal, which wasn't something I liked.

I liked Wind Waker alot...the style was pretty good even though it got me by surprise first...

I hope they take the extra time they've allowed themselves on making the game and make it a very interesting game

You actually... care about the anatomy in Wind Waker? I mean part of the style seems to be the messed up anatomy. That's like changing the style.

I'd personally like to see an Ocarina of time style game for the DS but it'd be a seperate game from this hourglass thing




And it says another zelda game for the wii has been in production for a year... don't get your hopes up on a new adventure it's probrably just a tingle game
