Yes, next Minigame comp starts now. Congratulations for second place, Grant, and everyone else that got in different places.

Anyways, this one is, of course, Christmas-themed. That means we can expect lots of snow, winter-y enemies, and, of course, some sort of Santa outfit somewhere(Not really required).

I guess a good due date is the 31st, giving you a good amount of time, while being able to celevrate the art of minigame making on the New Years!

A quick run-through of the rules:
  • The minigame must be winter or Christmas themed.
  • It must be finished before December 31st
  • No using pre-made engines. It must be made from scratch.
  • You may team up with another member if you feel you would do better.
  • Of course, it has to be about Mario or anything in the Mario universe, but that seems a little obvious.
Anyways, happy game making!

True, but for a lot of members, school will be out around Christmas and it will be easier to work on such a project.

I hope to enter this one, just gotta come up with an idea.

He wants it done before Christmas. So Christmas Eve's the best choice to end this.

Can I use the Platform Movement extension?
Obviously, I'll program new code to use it (to use it properly, you have to add some code passing input to it and checking for collisions) and not just take it from another engine using it.

wtf why even ask

it's not like anyone would be able to find out

plus the 8-dir movement and PMO aren't even engines
