I really don't want to take a side in this argument, but let me just say that though this particular eye-bleeding image I don't find particularly bothersome because it's so unrealistic, there are other gory cartoon images on the Internet that are more "extreme" (less unrealistic) which I really do find quite bothersome (one actually caused me to have trouble sleeping once).
