No it doesn't, actually. It means you've done your muscles arthritis.

Rule #1 of using the Wii - If it hurts, you're doing it wrong.

Rule #2 - If it hurts, it means you need to exercise more.

Correction: If it DOESN'T hurt, it means you haven't exercised enough. The pain is your muscles stretching. If you don't feel any pain from a workout, you won't gain any muscle.

I'm very happy to play Wii Sports Boxing until I ache and need to shower.

This is such terrible misinformation I don't even know where to begin.

It's like disproving a religion.

EDIT: I guess I could start by saying that pain, being an indication of imminent or current injury, is not what you should shoot for during exercise

The only injury I got from my Wii was when I hit my knee with the wii-mote swinging Link's sword once.
...once.

Oh and I play on a couch so I don't get any pain from it, even on Wii sports.

To make your Muscles bigger you must rip them, and ripping them brings pain, but they come back bigger =O FACT.

Cheese is the smartest person I've seen in this thread yet.

Draco clearly never went to a gym!

Don't you guys know where the phrase "no pain, no gain" came from?

That's what I've always thought.
"Breaking down muscle makes it grow back stronger"
So yeah.

No im pretty sure the pulling a muscle bit means you dont get enough excersize. Carpal tunnel syndrome comes from typing and ****.

Your muscles usually ache after you've exercised a lot the previous day. Happened all the time to my brother when he lifted weights, and he got quite muscular afterwards.

And when exactly did you become Jack LaLanne?

My arm hurt like hell for a while but I don't think it's from the Wii alone (probably epic wrestling with dog XD)
My dad (almost said dog >>) pulled something in his arm back in Taiwan when playing Bowling, he was in bed for quite some time D:

Getting the topic back on track, the only "injury" (though that doesn't count) I got from the Wii was my first time playing Wii Sports. In this case, it was a mostly-all-night-long four-player session. The thing that really ended up killing me was baseball because we all got super-competitive and really into it. For the entire next three days, my right arm was weak and ached whenever I tried to bend it.

But ShadowMan! Temporary injury is good for you!

And on a more useful note, you don't need to get into wii sports at all to do any of the actions except bowling and golf (and at that, not while putting)

EDIT: I had muscle cramps in my right arm after playing Twilight Princess because I was only flicking my wrist to attack, whereas I was moving my whole forearm with the nunchuk to do shield bashes and spins
After changing to use my whole right forearm too I no longer had them
