Goldeneye Source

Hey all you MFGGers who have HL2! Specifically you guys who haven't played gmod with us.

We're getting together people to play Goldeneye Source, which just came out a few days ago. You can download it here. I'll be hosting the server and trying to find a way to get rid of the annoying round timers (even though they don't do too much). Matches will be capped at 30 minutes or 50 kills, whichever comes first (probably 30 minutes). Jumping disabled.

I've had goldeneye source way before "a few days ago"

But maybe it was an alpha. dont remember. i'll get on once in a while.

I take it the previous version I downloaded a month ago has been updated?

Oh sweet, this'll be fun

That was an alpha, this is a new beta build and it's WAY more polished and decent than that version. Still has its flaws and graphical errors, but it's pretty decent.

And i'd play but I dunno how to join any servers people post here without people telling me the IP and password to connect to.

Add my account (jakmanjak, hooray for leaching) to your Friends list, and whenever I put a server up, it should appear under your Friends tab when browsing for servers.

We're all also using the program Hamachi because it's helped out with our pings/connection problems. The server name for that is MFGG, and the password is mfgg (case sensitive).

I'll probably put a server up again tomorrow. We had two three-person matches today (one on Control, one on Caves), and they were EPIC. Dragmire is officially the man with the golden gun.

Done, though Hamachi sux, i'll try join first the normal way next time I see a server and see how it goes.

Count me in. I've played a few games of this, and it rocks.

I would be doing this, especially due to my lack of gmod 10, but it's just after christmas and I've got tons of other crap to play.

Since yesterday's server was up around 9/10 PM Central Time

I wish i could play this.

Hey, how about that! My entire computer crashed.

I don't think it's something on my network's end that's causing the problem. The site recommends turning HDR off and reducing shadow detail. Maybe we just had too many people at once.
