There's no strict limit. But it will help if you've been around long enough to be known. That's pretty important for the comment mod position because we're only basing our decision on your paragraph and what we know about you. Quality Control will have a stronger emphasis on your reasoning capabilities and the decisions you make, hence you'll be writing more for that application.
