How do you get on top of the castle in SM64DS?

See the little square hedge of grass in front of the castle pillar? That's your goal. Turn Luigi to face you, crouch and jump to do a spin backwards. Hold B and head for the grass hedge until you land on it. Turn your camera right so that it faces the grass angle. Get Luigi to face the camera, do a double jump, and then start moving backwards RIGHT AFTER you reach the top of your jump, NOT BEFORE. After you land, he will start sliding down. Immediately do another jump and move backwards after the top of your jump. Repeat until you reach the castle roof, and attempt to move onto the castle roof.
