It was present from my older cousin. 10 years later it still works. I think my cousin got it in '87 which means the thing is 20 years old. Ends up that the power cable to the NES had become disconnected from the TV. That being said though, each NES plays a different 75% of my NES games, so it's convenient. -------------------- end of line

open the NES up if you can get your hands on a proper screw bit, then bend the pins back on the cartridge connector manually

I have a working NES, that I acquired via random person selling it for $20 with 5 games of my choice. I still play duck hunt on it...good ol' duck hunt...

I have a working NES, though I often have to wiggle the cartridges a lot for them to work (it's the system, not the cartridges, that causes it).

I like it anyway, though.
