Group: Wiki Sysops Posts: 28406 Member No.: 45 Joined: 13-October 03 Status: (0d)	More often than not, signatures stretch beyond the top and bottom of the browser windows of those with a 1024x768 resolution. People put things from links to their websites to friends codes in their signatures, all of which are actually useful. However, I found there are things that are not useful at all, and do nothing but take up a lot of space with large images, and large amounts of unnecessary empty spaces: Sloganizers and "WHAT CHARACTER ARE YOU" memes. Personally, I think they should be banned from signatures because of this, and because most people hotlink them and if that server is down or slow, it takes forever to load certain pages and topics because of it. Discuss. --------------------

A couple of weeks ago when I was on an 800x600 one the signatures appeared a lot bigger as some of them couldn't fit in. If there's more than one "I am X character" or sloganizer images then yeah, it should be removed since it's a bit pointless, but I see no halm in having one. But I like sigs, when they're not too big and annoying.

Also, I hate the fact that whenever someone finds something wrong with the signatures of a minority of the members, your solution is to "Learn to turn off sigs," as if we didn't know how to before. Don't insult me, I'm not stupid.
