If they're smart enough to find their way here AND lie about their age to let them register, then they're already smarter than the average new member.

It's not too terribly difficult to say you're 12 when you're really 9. I think it's more or less pointless anyway.

Get rid of the age limit, banning a 9-year-old because of his/her age, even though the person is very mature is just stupid.
