I actually tried to animate all three animations in a row, and was greatly relieved to see that the difference in the shading isn't as noticeable as you'd think it would be unless you actually look for it. : P
And yes, it was deliberate.

Also, I've updated the sheet slightly, with a jumping animation. I'll animate it once I have the falling and landing animations done.
