My comp entry demo, Mario's element surfing

My entry for the comp, heres a demo. All graphics by me except bg and ground sprites. Mario is running and lava and water come on the screen. In the top left corner of the screen there's a box with a mushroom in it, scroll the mouse wheel down and it changes into a poison mushroom. scroll it up and it turns back into a normal mushroom. Click on mario, if the icon's a mushroom he rides on a mushroom surf board. This can beat water but not fire. If the icon's a poison mushroom he rides a poison mushroom surfboard, it can destroy lava but not water. Right click on the surf board to destroy it so you can change. Don't say "It DoEsnt ShOW the high SCOREz lol!", I know that , Its a demo.

Unfortunately, this doesn't work with my mouse's wheel. Is there any way you could make it switch between normal and poison by clicking the right mouse button?

Same problem here as with Golem. I don't have a scroll wheel.

Can be done with up and down arrows. also c+c

But competition rules forbid that.

I'll change to middle mouse button.
