Well it's good to be back. I can't say I've ever been more excited to start off a fresh new year.
Epic Movie is not a comedy movie that you'll be watching again and again. But honestly, it wasn't that bad ethier.
The movie is set up like Date Movie from last year. A very weak story line mostly tied together by takeoffs of other movies. But amazingly this time didn't feel as, fill in the blanks.
There were some real funny parts in Epic Movie, but on the same note a lot of it was predicitable. It's good to see some real stars this time; Darrell Hammond, and Crispin Glover. But also good to see a bunch of returning ones; Adam Campbell, Jennifer Coolidge, Tony Cox and Fred Willard. The remaining cast did a decent job as well. And some pretty clever references were thrown in here and there.
Is it a step up from Date Movie? Yes. Is it funny? Yes. Will you remember half of it next week? No. The movie is designed for quick laughs and a good night at the movie theatre. Expect nothing more.

Samuel L. Jackson: I've had it with these goddamn snakes on this goddamn plane!
Susan: Why must you keep saying that?
Samuel L. Jackson: Because the internet bloggers love it.

Crispin Glover thought he was too good for Back to the Future 2.

Look at him now!

I saw it, and found it horrid.

It seemed to be aimed more at people who watch MTV and read People magazine, rather than people who just want to see a comedy movie.

EDIT: And the endless predictable jokes didn't help either. :/

Same. I really didn't enjoy it at all.

If that quote is the best you can get, then that just proves how bad of a movie it is

While doing theater check (I work at a theater) I caught some of this movie, and... wow. It's truly god-awful. There aren't sny jokes. It just dumbs down the characters from the movies and randomly connects them to each other. And there's a ****ty rap sequence every 10 minutes.

Legit bump, as it has recently been released in the other not so important places.

Really I thought this was nothing compared the the scary movies, but it was a nice change to see some bashing of other movie genres rather than just horror. Most of the jokes are long and stale though, like mr thomnas or whatever's house. Sure it's funny but did it have to take that long?

Also if you never liked the scary movies you should watch it for the sake of seeing Jennifer Coolidge's mature breasts hanging out alot. <333
