Will you release a second demo of the same levels, with shops?

This was hardcore, but I dislike the HUD. The levels were a bit short and yeah, the spacebar glitch.

Other than that, I am looking forward to this. SLD was one of the few fan games I ever bothered to beat.

I just played the demo now Hatman, I must admit it's actually quite simple, and I hope you'll add a little variation to the music =] but it is really good to be honest, there's something playable about it because of the engines simplicity it's very reliable - and you don't get annoyed by any "shouldn't be there" glitches, and still you have included a lot of the extra feacutres a mario (luigi) game should have. I can say if this game gets finished it'll be one which you can sit and play all the way through, the last game that did that for me was Epic2.

Sorry, but 1 demo is all you get.

Everything is going to be in the full release +more, so it leaves you something to be waiting for. wink.gif

Music needs a lot of fixing.

First, the MIDIs suck.
Second, the same music is in every level.
Third, the course clear music is at a really low volume compared to the sounds and music.
And fourth, you can use SPCs for the Yoshi's Safari music. Please do.

I assume he was going to change the music even if he wasn't thinking of that i find the music for the level is suiting.(but true playing same music file for many levels is boring.)

What is it that you find wrong with them (just out of curiosity)?

I personally like them and think they're well-chosen.

No, I mean how they sound awful. The songs are fine, but the MIDI representations of them are just awful, especially the menu.

I included the ability to turn off the game's sound for that very complaint.

Plus, I have no intention of changing the format from MIDI to anything else. MP3's are huge and unnecessary, when I can just use MIDIs which take far less space.

I do intend to change the background and theme for Stage 1-3, though, to make it look more like you're inside a sandcastle.

But I like sound. Maybe a way to lower the volume for music?

I really don't understand your hatred against MIDIS. Also Demo rocks.

it's how they sound awful compared to the original song. when a MIDI is sequenced right, it can sound good, but most of the ones in SLD2 aren't very good. an SPC (for SNES games) is 100% accurate to the original song and only 64kb each.

Midi's should not be used in todays world =p
We have internet connections beyond 56k so we can download bigger files. Such as GM and Click games which include Mp3 files. I used to wait 30minutes for a 8mb GM/Click game to download 5 years ago, I'm willing to wait that long for one at about 100mb now. So use the space =]
