Minigame Comp #23, Extended a week. Check the first post.

First, congrats to Flipiberke for getting runner-up. His awesome entry can be found right here, if you haven't had a chance to try it yet. Now, on to the new topic!

This time around, you need to make mixed up games! In other words, take characters from Mario games, and put them in non-Mario game settings.
(Example: Mario in a Sonic game.)
Or, if that's not your thing you can take non-Mario characters and put them in a Mario game!
(Example: Sonic in a Mario game.)

I hope to see some really creative entries come out of this comp! You can work in teams of 2 or 3 people if you'd like. You have three weeks to finish your entries, so the deadline for entries is Feb 27.
EDIT: I've extended it a week. The deadline is now March 6th

EDIT: To clarify on the rules: you must use official non-Mario characters. You can't use original ones.

I suppose that would be okay as long as you make it so that Mario is supposed the be in an NHL game. (Dressing him up in the proper uniform, ect...)
