What type of gamer are you?

I don't care, though, since I don't feel I'm really missing anything. Saying I'm "held back" sounds like you think I'm deprived. But I'm entirely sure I wouldn't feel any different if I did play games on other systems, and it's not like I never have before. I'm just content with having Nintendo systems and games.

I stick with Nintendo, if PC doesn't count. Buying other systems is just a waste of cash.

I was pretty much a Sega-only fan until Sega stopped making consoles. Now I couldn't care less as long as it's good.

I'm a multiplatform gamer, but I lean heavily towards Nintendo products. Although it was only recently that I've gone with non-Nintendo consoles. The first non-Nintendo system I bought was a Dreamcast two years ago. It was an excellent purchase and mostly the result of my love of 2D fighters, though I discovered a lot of great games on the console from other genres.

After that, my brother bought a PS2 to play Final Fantasy X(which he ended up hating) and now I've got almost as much PS2 games as I do GCN ones. With that said, most of my PS2 titles are the result of bargains and sales which, considering the sheer volume of PS2 games, are quite common. I've also recently started picking up bargain XBox titles, as I plan on purchasing either an XBox or an XBox 360 when I encounter them at an agreeable price.

With that said, Nintendo consoles all the way. Nintendo is my favorite developer ever and they always release a healthy quantity of games on their consoles. So even if third part support wavers, the first party Nintendo titles still make every one of their systems an excellent purchase. The quality of many of Nintendo's games is a step above just about every game developed by other companies. I feel like people these days take "the Nintendo touch" for granted and tend to just flock to the console with the most third party support.

Of course, the Wii is about to change a lot of this.

Anyways, I'm uh... a PC gamer.

I have only Nintendo consoles and a PC, and I'm playing games on both of them and see advantages in both of them. Does that count as multi?

Multiplaform gamer because I like lots of games and I hate being limited. Though my favorite by far is Nintendo. Microsoft is okay though. Oh yeah and I can't forget the lovely PC.

I've got two nintendo consoles, GCN and SNES. I'm gonna get Wii too. Also I've go Atari 2600, but no games for it.

I thought PC didn't count as a console. I play games on my computer sometimes, but I don't consider myself a "multiplatform gamer" in the sense of the phrase that I thought this topic had to do with.

I've played on other consoles aside from Nintendo before, but only briefly cause I don't actually own them and it's usually at a friend's/cousin's house, if that counts

I've always been multi-platform but I'm leaning towards Microsoft now-a-days; I'm not buying a Wii but I plan to buy an Xbox 360 in a few months.

I have NEVER touched an x-box or PS2 or PS in my life. So I only buy nintendo games. But I own 3 different nintendo consoles(platforms).
