Flooding is usually posting many times in a row either by creating new topics or by replying within a single topic. It's different if you reply to many topics in a row because you are not flooding the forum with new topics or flooding a single topic which makes other people invisible... in a sense.

Nobody's going to kill you for messing up even slightly. Just do what you normally do and make sure you don't do what you're not supposed to. But don't worry about screwing up. You'll end up not having any fun at all.
