Drawing Competition #4: Mario's High School Days

First, congratulations to Piichi Hime for winning Sprite Comp 3. It's too bad she didn't come back in time to start her own comp.

Now then...

Have you ever read the fanfiction series Mario's High School Days? It's a fun little saga about Mario, Luigi, Peach, and other Nintendo characters in High School, and the hijinks that ensue. Find the story here if you want to read it.

So, as you've probably guessed, your mission is to draw anything related to this subject. Note: It doesn't have to be something taken directly from this story, it's only for ideas if you need them. You may draw a scene from the fanfiction, make something up yourself, or simply draw any Mario or Nintendo character(s) as teenagers. There are more than just Mario characters in the story, so I'm leaving it open to anything Nintendo. You can do Bowser, Saria, Samus, even Fox if you want, as long as it sticks with the subject at hand (TD's Rule: And as long as you have at least one Mario character in with them).

Once again, you do not have to take material directly from the fanfiction story, only if you want to. Otherwise I just posted it for ideas. Personally, I haven't decided yet whether I'll draw a scene or make something up. Now, get out those pencils/pens/mspaint and lets have fun!

I'll allow the other characters, as long as you put some Mario characters in with them.

I like that for some reason. I think you should clean up the background though. It looks a bit ugly. Try shading more than Luigi's face, it'll look better.

does it have to be colored because I dont have any or photoshop of any of that stuff.

How long do these competitions last? I think I'll enter this one.

Wario shoved toad in a trash can and tries to act casual. I gave him a coat to make him look like those guys that steal things and hide them.

To answer your questions,

1) No, it doesn't have to be colored

2) No, it doesn't have to have mario in it, but it must have at least one mario character in it if you're going to use other Nintendo franchises

3) The comp will be open until next weekend, when the voting will begin. I don't think we need to spend two weeks on this since pretty much the entire second week of the last comp was wasted.

I have an Idea, Mario is one of those 60's Cool people, Much like "The Fonz" and have his thumbs up, like the Fonz.

Just an Idea I had, but I am not skilled enough in Drawing to do fists well.

I'll enter, of course. But I doubt I'll win. Especially if Piichi's around.
