Question to the mods and admins?

People got a lot more out of my question than I intended. Really I was just asking if the mods and admins liked the place or if they were sick of their jobs.

No, it certainly doesn't look like they're sick of their jobs.

I think more cases than not, they're more worried about DOING their jobs more efficiently, which somehow gets a very bad reaction from the forumgoers (which is completely backwards, but true).

Well "sick of" is open to interpretation. From what i've gathered, they're a bit sick of being unappreciated for the jobs they're required to do, which in my opinion can probably lead to not doing that job next time, simply because they want to avoid the repercussions or something. At least that's how I picture it.

I think if this was a little further back in time I'd agree with you in some cases. For example: Willy Goldwater. That guy didn't want the job he was given and it was plainly obvious (see: my ban log).

In cases like Klobber, for example, who sometimes flips out (or appears to flip out, for whatever reason) over people *****ing about the job he's doing, he doesn't really get any more lenient because of it. I think this sort of attitude spreads to a few other admins or moderators.

Just know that despite how frustrated I get with this place, it's still my home on the internet, and I still like coming here.

Meh. I don't really think about pissing off members when I take mod action. I do what I think is right and hope the majority of other members agree, but if they don't, it's still my judgment.

Would be a good attitude were your decisions not based off personal bias occasionally.

Are you still going on about the Vault thing? Because other than that, I can't think of another instance in which you complained about my being "biased." In fact, other than people saying I favor Duckboy (which is bull, as I've given him verbal warnings and bannings before), I can't remember ever really being accused of specific bias until last night.

Damn straight! In my eyes it's the definition of "To insult or criticize provokingly; to intend to incite anger". Already asked for it to be removed from the Vault.

Asking for inaction and receiving action you have clearly stated you do not want may constitute spite or maybe harassment

I could see that being a problem if "The Vault" was a bounty of excellent information, but as it stands we're not exactly talking about hallowed ground.
